Travel to Villa Del Pescador
Most guests travel to Villa Del Pescador via
commercial airlines to Los Mochis International airport. Aero Mexico
has daily flight to Los Mochis from Phoenix, Tucson, and Los Angeles.
Aero California operates flights from Tucson and Los Angeles. We
will be happy to book your flight for you, or
you can book through the Internet or use a travel agent of your
choice. Guests of Villa Del Pescador will be met at the Los Mochis
Airport by a Villa representative who will assist in securing all
luggage and arrangements needed for transportation to Villa Del
Pescador. Your transportation to and from the airport is included
in your Copper Canyon or Bass Fishing package price.
The trip from the airport to the Villa is approximately one hour
and twenty minutes. Upon arrival at the lodge you will be assisted
by the staff in obtaining your room and cocktails will be served
prior to dinner. If your ultimate destination is Lake Huites you
will depart for the lake early the next morning after breakfast
and will be on the lake fishing by midmorning. Copper Canyon Travelers
will have time at either the beginning or end of their trip to enjoy
the local tours of El Fuerte. One the day your train is secluded,
you will be awakened for breakfast and transferred to the Chihuahua
al Pacifico Railroad Station where you will begin enjoying the breathtaking
Copper Canyon scenery.
Travel into Mexico
is quite simple. All that is needed at this time is a current passport
or certified copy of your birth certificate and a picture I.D. You
will be issued a tourist visa upon entry which must be surrendered
at the time of departure from Mexico. At present there are no required
immunizations for entry in Mexico but we suggest you be prudent
and discuss these issues with you physician.
For those who wish to travel by personal
automobile, a four lane highway connects
El Fuerte to Tucson, Arizona. The trip takes approximately 9 hours.
If you are intending to travel by car we will be more than happy
to provide you with information regarding auto insurance and bringing
your auto into Mexico. The gated compound of Villa Del Pescador
offers secure off-street parking for our drive-in guests. View

El Fuerte also boasts a private
airstrip with a 4200 foot paved runway
and 24 hour security available for chartered or private flights.
